There is no place I would rather be
than in the field teaching a dog about birds. I have had
an attraction to dogs my whole life and I suspect it is
something in the blood. The satisfaction of seeing a
young pup
point it's first bird still gives me a thrill and
watching that same dog slamming a point when he's
thirteen is something very special.
I began training dogs in 1979 and I
train dogs for AF, NSTRA, NAVHDA, NBHA, AKC and Gun
dogs. I enjoy participating in different areas
of competition and testing because it keeps me sharp.
But training is
what I love. It's a passion. ...and training a good 'ole
hunting dog is the best of all! If you are looking for a trainer
