Puppy Program The 30-day Puppy Program is designed for pups from 4 to 6 months old. Bird introduction, retrieving and gun fire are introduced in a way that nurtures the pups natural instincts. This is the most critical time in a gun dogs life and care must be taken to do this right. For the versatile pup, water introduction and pheasant tracking are included to prepare for the NAVHDA NA test.

At the end of the 30-day Puppy Program, your pup will have been exposed to all of the fundamental hunting skills required to become a useful hunting companion.

Most pups are pointing birds and retrieving by the end of the program. The versatile pups should be well on their way to a successful completion of the NAVHDA NA test.
Hunting Dog Program Our 90-day Hunting Dog program will develop your dog to be the best hunting dog that it is capable of becoming based on the dogs inherited instincts. We believe in finishing hunting dogs (Steady to WSF) unless otherwise instructed. We will teach the dog to handle for the foot hunter and to hunt objectives within foot hunting range. We will also teach your dog to Kennel, Stay, Heel, Come, Whoa & Back. Our goal is to return to you a dog that you can be proud of. The only limiting factor is the dog's genetic abilities. If your dog has the tools, we will develop them. When you hunt with a dog that we have trained, your time a field will be much more enjoyable for both you and your dog.
Specialized Training For those owners interested in competing or testing in AKC Hunt Tests, AF, NSTRA, NBHA or NAVHDA, specialized training regimens are available.
Force Fetch Force Fetch training teaches a dog that once given the command “Fetch” the dog must pick up and hold an object. Force Fetching a dog will make even a natural retriever a better retriever. It is also frequently used to cure problems such as hard-mouth or eating birds. Ultimately it ensures proper retrieval to hand.

As for how long this process takes or how many sessions are required, there is no set answer because each dog is different and learns at it’s own pace. The training could progress very quickly or it could be drawn-out. We charge a flat fee for the training. 
Rates Our standard training rate is $500/month. Force Fetch only is a flat rate of $650 (includes birds). NAVHDA and other specialized training rates may vary depending upon needs. We feed Purina Pro Plan and feed is included in the price. If your dog requires different feed then you must supply and the same rates are in effect. First month fee is required in advance and you will be billed monthly. We require a three month minimum for all training except our Puppy Program and Force Fetch training. 
All Dogs All training dogs will require veterinarian's health certificate with proof of current shots. Your dog will also need to be on heartworm preventative.
Facilities The kennel facilities and training grounds are located at Echo Plantation in Chester, SC. The grounds are magnificent. 2000 acres of manicured and planted fields, hedgerows, ponds and woodlands. We are able to train everything from NAVHDA UT to AF Horseback dogs here.
